Veracity leves usually feature two different types of targets. The leve will indicate that one of these targets will drop key items which can be used on the other type of target. This may reveal the target to be of a third type, which is the primary target of the leve. Attacking the secondary targets has the same effect as the key item, but if the target is not a primary target, you will have engaged it normally. The key item-carrying targets will respawn after they are defeated so you can obtain more key items.

Some Veracity leves lack the key item mechanic. In these cases, you must attack the secondary targets and hope to find the correct ones.

Battlecraft leves may be completed by any Disciple of War or Magic, while Tradecraft and Fieldcraft leves must be completed by a specific class; Grand Company leves can be completed by a member of any Grand Company, but a bonus is earned when completing leves by the Grand Company you have joined; Trial leves are Battlecraft leves which must be completed before other leves will be offered by this levemete; they will not be offered again once completed
